I never met a concert I didn’t like.

I seriously love live music and will take it in any shape or form. Yesterday, I attended the 94/9 Indie Jam and had a blast. It was great to see PB&J, Cold War Kids and The Soft Pack again, and I enjoyed checking out Band of Skulls and Surfer Blood too. I have never been to a show at the Oceanside Pier, but I will definitely be returning. There is something so glorious about watching a band with the sunset and waves going off behind them. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend this “concert hall” (say whut foursquare?).

This week, I’m continuing my never-ending quest for incredible live tunes and checking out the three bands below. Stephen Marley at HOB (I won a Twitter contest!), John Heart Jackie at the Habitat, and the Deftones in LA with my sister and her boyfriend Mike. I’ve actually seen all of these artists before, and I’m anxiously awaiting round deux. Reggae, folk, and metal? That’s just the way I roll!
